Follow Dani Slade, as she walks her own dog, Spencer, a miniature schnauzer, and two other dogs, who belong to her friends. She has lived in the small American town since fifth grade, so she knows nearly everyone. But after her husband Lance died when he was only 26 and she was 25, she has spent the last four years getting even closer to friends in their small community at the local dog park.
Romance is in the air, it’s been four years since Dani has really dated and she is finally ready.
I knew that Dani needed a pet dog, so I was inspired by our sweet little dog Spencer. He will be 14 on Earth Day 2023. He is a funny little talker who makes all sorts of noises, is food driven, and loves to play. He also loves to sleep and makes cute little noises when he sleeps as well.

There are three main dogs in this mystery. Spencer, Dani’s miniature schnauzer.
Sassy, Sophie’s French bulldog, and Scout, Hank’s basset hound. All of them are adorable, and they all are a part of the action.
Dani Slade, our main character, is devoted to dogs in general.
She is also ready to date eligible men.
She doesn’t plan on discovering a dead body. But once she does she finds she has a desire to solve the case and find the murderer.
It may seem like Dani in Demand is all about dogs, because those are the images I have to share. But it really isn’t. It’s about Dani, her friendships, her romantic relationships. And solving a murder.
Each book offers more mysteries to solve.
